Ghost Bridge drops a temporary 5-block bridge in front of you. It lasts 8 seconds, then it's gone. One cast, and the gap is covered. It's a server-side power, like every cheat on the cheats list.

02How do you unlock Ghost Bridge?
Reach 25 Patches. It's the first milestone on the Patch track, before Short Flight at 40 and the Utility slot at 50. With a 60-per-day cap and +50% for first-week players, it's often the first new power a player earns. Ghost Bridge is also one of the four cheats in the Builder pack, which unlocks at 50 Patches.
03The 8-second window, explained
The bridge lasts 8 seconds. The cooldown is 25 seconds. That leaves a 17-second gap where no bridge exists and you can't cast another. Plan crossings so you're off the bridge before second 8.

Five blocks in 8 seconds is an easy walk, so the timer only bites if you stop mid-bridge or try to use it as a place to stand and fight.
04Ghost Bridge Heat budget
At 25 Heat each, four bridges in a row land at exactly 100, the cap. Treat three as your real chain (75), leaving room for one Dash.

On cooldown, Ghost Bridge adds 25 Heat every 25 seconds, so 60 Heat per minute.
05Best uses for Ghost Bridge
- Ravines and cave drops. Five blocks covers a lot of underground gaps in one cast.
- A landing pad after Short Flight. Flight lasts 5 seconds; the bridge lasts 8. Cast it under you near the end of a flight.
- Reaching pinged ores. Ore Ping shows ores across a gap, Ghost Bridge gets you there.
- Escaping with PvP on. A bridge that vanishes after 8 seconds is a path behind you that doesn't stay.
- Builder pack synergy. The pack also has Magnet, so drops from the far side fly back to you.
06Ghost Bridge on the road to Builder
Ghost Bridge at 25 Patches is a preview of the Builder pack at 50. Once you have both, you get Magnet, Night Vision and Super Mine on top of the bridge, plus the Magnet Gauntlet that pulls drops to you. If you like what the bridge does for your routes, Builder is the pack that builds around it.
On the way there you'll also pass Short Flight at 40. Bridge + Flight is one of the better travel pairs in the game: fly for 5 seconds, then drop an 8-second bridge to land on or keep walking across. That pair costs 70 Heat, so start it from a bar at 30 or lower if you want to keep a Dash in reserve.
07Ghost Bridge and WANTED
Overheating in Survival with PvP on makes you WANTED for 180 seconds. Ghost Bridge is a mid-cost power, but people stack it with Flight and Dash during escapes and creep past 100 without noticing. If you're at 76 Heat or higher with PvP on, another bridge crosses the cap. See the Heat system.
08Common Ghost Bridge mistakes
- Building on it. It disappears after 8 seconds. Anything you rely on it for goes with it.
- Standing on it to fight. Same reason. When the timer ends, you fall.
- Recasting too early. The cooldown is 25 seconds, not 8. You'll have 17 seconds with nothing.
- Firing the fourth one. Four bridges is 100 Heat. Count them.
- Using it in the hub or a safe zone. Powers are blocked there.
